Stacey Shoman, ARNP has served at a sub-investigator for clinical trials since 2011. She was born and raised in Flemington, New Jersey prior to moving to the Kansas City area in high school. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Pittsburg State University in 1996 and her Master's Degree and a nurse practitioner from UMKC in 2006. She is board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Stacey worked at Children's Mercy Hospital for 10 years; initially as a staff nurse and later as a nurse practitioner in the pulmonology and cystic fibrosis clinic.

She joined Pediatric Care Specialists in 2007. Stacey is married and has two young children, Sam and Addison. Personal interests include shopping, spending time with her family and traveling.
